Beautiful NYE stay. Played a round in Las Calinas when we arrived then went to Knickers for dinner. Knickers was good but bleu chips chips were burnt. Checked in and hit the room to get ready. Liked the patio was enclosed. Beautiful grounds to walk around with your companion. Such a quiet facility. Beds were comfortable. Brunch was heavy with all the options. Can see us returning.

Mission Inn is an excellent place for vacation , or business. There has recently been a change in ownership, new owners have introduced some nice improvements, rooms, restaurants etc. The reservation team, headed by Ms Ann Marie Peter is still exceptional, professional and 100% customer service oriented, and always make my trip a wonderful experience. A new addition in the La Margarita Restaurant is the chef Carl, his goal is to totally please with everything he prepares, and this he has done-2 days in a row now. The waitress Jasmine is perfect for her job, courteous, polite, & professional. The La hacienda restaurant always goes up and behond to make breakfast a great way to start the day. The servers are excellent. Always great things to say after and during a trip. Richard

Staff at reception desk ,from 1917, not rude but not welcoming. Our room in the further most building with no security or any staff in it. Room was outdated from the 1990, five feet bathtub with such a low ceiling, I which am 5"8" ,could touch it. Mold in the bottom of bathtub. Wife had to get chlorine bleach before she would bathe. The grounds are beautiful. It must have been great it is heydays, but it is going to take Marriott to tear this place down and make it a destination. Will never ever go back, do not get lure by the landscape, this place is a dive. The Home 2 Suites is like the Rizt Carlton compare to this place, Forget the photos they give you on the web site.

My husband and I went to our friend’s wedding, The Lugo’s. It was a gorgeous venue, great food, bar tenders were friendly. An all around wonderful wedding! If I had to suggest one item, the parking for a Honda accord, off road, was a little rough.

The resort must have been great when it opened and for the next 20 or so years. Sadly, it is now very tired in need of major reconstructive repair. When you walk in the lobby you are greeted by a strong chemical smell. The rooms have a very similar smell, not good. Each room has a separate a/c unit that is very near the bed, loud and pretty much runs all of the time. No refrigerator in the rooms, this costs extra and appears to be placed on a cart outside your room. The entire property has a vintage feel and not in a good way. Service at the restaurants is below average. Beware, the pictures of this place look pretty good, not so much in reality. In summary, a 2 star property that comes with 3.5 star prices.

The Mission Inn Resort was a great location for our friends daughter wedding. Everything we needed was right on sight-golf, spa, restaurants, bar and of course the wedding. The rooms Were spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the staff the best, especially John the shuttle driver, Rob the desk worker and Mindy the waitress at Nickers!!!

We stayed at Mission Inn 3 nights and played both golf courses. The gentlemen running the courses are very friendly, as well as are the snack cart girls and the hotel staff in general. We ate at La Margarita’s on two occasions, and our servers Sidney and Matthew were fantastic. The food was pretty tasty — met our expectations. Our room faced the 5th tee of the El Campeon course. The room was slightly older but very clean and well appointed, spacious. The courses were in fine shape — fun to play! Only two knocks against our stay. 1. The mattresses desperately need replaced. Ours was far too soft — really awful to be honest. The other issue was we went to Nicker’s after golf on day 2 at 3:25pm. There weren’t but a few tables taken. The hostess sat us immediately and gave us menus. There were two servers nearby clearing and resetting tables, tending to one table of patrons right next to us; however, for 15 minutes we sat there completely ignored. It was like we were invisible. The one older, slight man with a beard lazily cleared the table not 5 feet away, totally ignored us. The young woman server with braids was not 6 inches away from us as she asked the table next to us if they wanted dessert. No one said “someone will be right with you” or brought us water — nothing. So we just ended up leaving and went to La Margarita’s at 4pm, which was night and day a different experience. I hadn’t played the course since 1991, so it was nostalgic, and my husband and I had a great time golfing. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Don’t miss that. You can get anything made fresh (pancakes, waffles, eggs, omelets) plus a plethora of fruits (blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, etc), all the meats, breads, buns, and more. The gold and the breakfast buffet were the highlights for sure. As mentioned before, but for the servers at Nicker’s, the entire staff was, to a person, efficient, friendly and welcoming!

My husband and I took a friend of ours from England for Sunday brunch. We haven’t visited for a year and we noticed some changes. The Hacienda restaurant looks very tired and dated. The chairs at our table were worn with torn seat covers. The buffet seemed less fresh and with fewer choices. The service was good however. I’m not sure we will return anytime soon given the price of the buffet versus the dated ambience.
